Kid's Choice Awards Orange Carpet Pre-Show

Picture
I had a blast attending the Kid's Choice Awards Orange Carpet Pre-Show hosted by Nickelodeon on Saturday, March 31. I had reserved seating directly above the carpet in a bleacher with other fans of the celebrities who came, and spent time with my friends Victoria and Sophia Strauss. Stars would walk the orange carpet posing for pictures for the press, and then come over to me and the other fans for autographs. I was able to see Mindless Behavior, Nathan Kress, One Direction, Jerry Trainor, Amandla Stenberg, Willow Shields, Tiffany Espensen, Selena Gomez, Nick Cannon, Ludacris, Selena Gomez, Josh Hutcherson, and even Katy Perry! Although I didn't go to the actual Kid's Choice Awards, I loved the experience of having access to the carpet for an award show! Next year, I hope to get press credentials, how cool would that be!

Tutus 4 Tots hosted By Ooh La La Couture

Picture
As many people may know, I have a passion for helping find a cure for cystic fibrosis, a genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. Each day research comes closer to finding a cure, but we still need your help. On March 3, 2012, I attended an event hosted by Ooh La La Couture and Bella Thorne in Los Angeles.  This event brought 70 girls from Kids in Distressed Situations to meet several Disney stars and pick out their own outfit by Ooh La La Couture with one of the stars who attended. Caley Camarillo, an inspirational 10 year old girl who has CF, came out to this event and handed out bracelets with cute charms made by her own hands to all 70 girls, as well as the Disney celebrities. Caley also makes these bracelets to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, please purchase them at http://braceletsbymisscaley.ecrater.com/.  Skai Jackson, Pia Mia, Kenton Duty, Caroline Sunshine, Allisyn Ashley Arm, Audrey Whitby, Dylan Riley Snyder, Jadin Gould, Ava Allan, Katherine McNamara, Remy Thorne, Kelli Berglund, Roshon Fegan, and Alli Simpson showed their support and giving hearts to the little girls. Near the end of this successful event, I interviewed Caley Camarillo in which she told me more about her bracelets, favorite tv shows, and how to stay in touch with her. Five Star PR Charity A Place Called Home

Picture
On December 10, 2011, I was lucky enough to attend an event put on by Jennifer Tinucci from Five Star Public Relations. This party was held at Rubix Hollywood and money raised from the event was donated to A Place Called Home, a non-profit organization helping the less fortunate kids in Los Angeles. This was a red carpet event with several amazing sponsors like Pop Chips, Subway, and Little Caesars. After the stars walked the red carpet, I asked them for a quick interview to talk about plans for the holidays, their acting careers, and what brought them out to this charity event. The people I interviewed were Malyssa Martinez, Sam Lant, Katherine McNamara, Victoria Strauss, Sophia Strauss, Temara Melek, Tarik Ellinger, Allisyn Ashley Arm, Frankie Jonas, Dylan Riley Snyder, Noah Cyrus, and Kelly Crook. This event was super fun, and I had a blast meeting new people and seeing old friends!

Goodie Girls Cupcake Visit

Picture
Calling all Los Angeles residents! You must go visit the Goodie Girls cupcake store in Glendale and taste some of the best cupcakes ever! Considering Annette Starbuck, the winner of Cupcake Wars Season 3, makes these  treats, they must be amazing!  Goodie Girls had only been open for less than three weeks, yet it looked great and pretty pink! I stopped in this cute store one time when I was in the area, and interviewed Annette in the back of the store. She talks about her reaction when she won Cupcake Wars, how she got into baking cupcakes, and how you can stay up to date with great deals on her cupcakes and new flavors of the week. Blizz Yogurt Meet and Greet

Picture
How convenient is it that I interviewed Ryan Ochoa and Geno Segers on the same day as the Five Star PR Charity party? Very! Right before I headed over to Rubix Hollywood to interview the stars at the Five Star holiday party, I went to Blizz Yogurt in Pico Rivera. Geno Segers (Mason) and Ryan Ochoa (Lanny) from Disney XD's Pair of Kings were having a meet and greet for fans of their very popular tv show. They signed autographs for three hours, talked to fans, and ate tons of yummy yogurt. They were so kind to take a break and do an interview with me. In Ryan's interview, we discussed the arrival of his new baby sister, his craziest fan encounter, and his experience of going to a public high school. In Geno's interview, he told me about Mitchell Musso, funniest on set moment, and his new show Fort Boyard. It was great getting to learn more about Ryan and Geno, and the fact that it was at a yogurt store made it all the better!
